But First, Skin Care Pt 1: Naturally Beautiful
Being beautiful means feeling at ease and confident in your own skin. Nowadays, everyone wants crystal-clear skin that requires little to no effort. People frequently whine about their skin and assume that it is dry, oily, or sensitive. But do they seek to understand their true skin type? Knowing your skin type is crucial when creating your own skin care routine, especially if it is designed to address specific skin concerns such as acne or scars. Even if you have flawless skin, a daily skin care routine can help you maintain skin health and identify specific skin concerns. We've probably stocked our closets with a variety of face serums, creams, masks, and other cosmetics. Experimenting with new skin products can be enjoyable at times, but there is no guarantee that the skin product will work wonders for the skin. Before using any type of ingredient, whether natural or chemical, we should always consult with our dermatologist. However, we must all agree that taking natural care of the skin is never a bad idea. So, let us bring that natural glow back to our skin while we relax, renew, and refresh it.
Apple Cider Vinegar
We've done some strange beauty hacks before, and this one is pretty high on the list. Although the smell is not for everyone, it is one of the most popular natural skin care products. It aids in the reduction of microorganisms on the skin, and the acid acts as an exfoliator, eliminating dead skin cells and revealing smoother, softer skin. A spoon of apple cider with some lukewarm water is also recommended for a healthy digestive system. Simply mixing a small amount of apple cider vinegar with distilled water and applying it to your face will help lighten age spots and remove acne scars. Apply the toner to a clean face with a cotton pad. By making sure to use the equal amount of ACV and water, this works great as a toner.
Honey
Raw honey is an excellent addition to your morning toast, honey lemon tea, and skin care. It contains antibacterial properties and may aid in the treatment of acne outbreaks. Because honey has a low pH, many germs may not be able to thrive long on the skin. This is what I refer to as a "golden element" in my beauty routine because it can be used as both a cleanser and a moisturizer. It's quite nourishing and hydrating.
Lavender with hemp seed oil/jojoba oil
Jojoba oil is a nourishing and hydrating oil for all skin types, and it's a very light oil that soaks up quickly and doesn't feel sticky. It's high in Vitamin E and packed with antioxidants. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, as well as detoxifying and therapeutic properties. Lavender, on the other hand, is a lovely match for jojoba oil. It has a relaxing, healing effect and aids in sleep improvement. It can help with asthma symptoms by lowering blood pressure and heart rate. This is an excellent moisturizer for the skin.
Coconut oil
Coconut oil is indeed a blessing. Something that is almost universally available and can be used not just for cooking but also for skincare and haircare. However, it can be used as a moisturizer for dry skin, a make-up remover, a face mask, and to aid in the healing of wounds and injuries.
Tip: Coconut oil should not be used on oily skin because it can clog pores.
Clay mask
At least once a week, we like to pamper our skin with an exfoliating face mask. Clay mask is the most affordable and natural face mask for absorbing excess oils and pollutants, tightening pores, and reducing blackheads. It is a chemical-free natural facemask that can also be used to treat skin conditions such as psoriasis, rosacea, and eczema. It can also help to eliminate excess moisture and protect the skin from sun damage.
So, filters are excellent, but great skin care is much better. Excellent skin requires effort, not a miracle. Cosmetics is a choice, but first, skincare. Follow us @UrbanBodyFix for skin care tips.
