Mental Health Awareness Month

I long for the day when we as a culture have been educated enough to see that mental illness is equally as significant as physical sickness. I hope we can establish a safe environment where people don't hesitate to seek help, counseling, or treatment because they are afraid of being judged as false or weak. A mental illness is a brain disease that causes problems with thinking, behavior, energy, or emotion, making it difficult to comply with everyday life responsibilities. Today, we'll discuss how to deal with mental illness in an open and honest manner.

Here are things you can do for your mental health:

  • Love yourself <3

  • Take care of your body, eat nutritious meals and drink water, a lot of water!

  • Surround yourself with positive and good (actually good people who geniuses care about you) people :)

  • Learn to deal with stress by doing some meditation

  • Let your mind rest, don’t overthink or overdo things which cause stress.

  • Set goals in life.

  • Avoid alcohol and substances harmful for your body, remember your body is your virtue!

  • And most importantly, please get help if you need. There is nothing wrong in asking for help or even chatting with someone about it :))

It’s hard to feel balanced and grounded sometimes, especially when restless and worrying thoughts cut into your downtime. Sometimes you just need to free yourself from life’s to-do lists and halt the brakes on your ruminating mind. Bring some calmness into your life with nutraMetrix® Isotonix Essentials Turn Down. It helps stabilize and enhance mood, promotes calmness and relaxation. It supports quality sleep, releases mental tension and clears the mind.
