Lavender is an excellent agent in aromatherapy. Used in its oil or floral form, lavender has been shown to promote calmness and wellness. It’s an excellent tool for lowering anxiety and stress levels. Rub some on the palms of your hand or temples before bed or meditation for utter relaxation. Or add a drop or two drops of lavender oil to your morning coffee for some peace to start your day.

Pain Relief

In addition to its calming abilities, lavender can also help with mild pains. Many use lavender oil to help alleviate pains from menstrual cramps, soreness, swelling, or headaches. Simply apply some lavender topically to feet, temples, wrists, and earlobes for pain relief.

Sleep Aid

It’s no surprise that with lavender’s calming properties, that it can also be used as a natural sleep aid. Stuff your pillow case with lavender flowers or apply and rub some lavender oil over your pillow to get a good night’s rest. Skin Care
